SmartKnitKIDS Compresso-T Deep Pressure Sensory Compression Undershirt
This compression tank top is a great alternative for the vests and other various compression items out there, especially if you are on the go. It comes in a plain white color and a Bugsley Superhero color. We bought the white color since our son did not want the bugsley one, so that is the one we will be reviewing. At the time of this posting it is listed at $22.95USD for one compression tank top.
We measured him manually as the company says to with measuring tape, but when we got the medium it did not fit him at all. It would not even go over his head! So we returned it and went with a size up, which is the large. Now in regular shirts he was a small at the time, but we had to get him a large in the compression top, which ended up fitting him just right.
He absolutely loved this compression tank top! It is nice and soft to the touch, no scratchy tags, and it helped keep him calmer and more relaxed. Now it is the first one we have bought for him that he could try on, aside from the wrong size that we bought from them before. We were surprised he liked it, since he does not seem to like tighter clothing, but he would not take it off when he first tried it on.
A plus with this is that you can wear it under t-shirts and tank tops or by itself, which my son prefers to wear it by itself. On the other hand, wearing it underneath something could help other children feel more relaxed still, while wearing a regular shirt of their choice.
In the end, we would say definitely this compression tank top is a 9/10 because of the initial fit not working, otherwise it is a great buy.
